WRAPPED UP IN STRIPES
by Sarah Marsh
As the daughter of the Blue Valley lion pride’s alpha, Heidi should have the pick of the litter when it comes to dating, but her brothers think differently. Surprised with a trip on a very exclusive cruise, she’s excited to explore her fantasies. Bondage? Submission? Ménage? … yes, please! If this is her chance to experience everything she’s ever fantasized about, then Heidi is going to go for broke.
Who has time for pleasure? There’s far too much work to do. Wild Desires cruise line is having issues, and Mason and Wade plan to get to the bottom of it. They didn’t anticipate finding a lioness that has their inner beasts utterly fascinated. Neither of them seems to be able to resist the temptation sweet little Heidi presents.
Why fight fate when it presents them with such a tasty treat? Good thing they’ve always preferred to share.
Interview with author Sarah Marsh
What inspired you to start writing?
Lol, I’m not really sure. I’ve only really written poetry up until I took a shot at my first book about 4 years ago… then it took me another year or so to let someone else read it. I read a huge amount and my imagination just wouldn’t seem to leave me alone. Writing keeps the voices to a dull roar. 😉
Plotter or pantser?
I am mostly a pantser. When I get new ideas while working on a different project, I’ll usually make some notes, but that’s about it.
What do you like most about writing paranormal?
The freedom! The thing I love most about writing para, sci fi and fantasy is that there are no limits, if you can imagine it, it’s fair game.
What advice do you have for aspiring authors?
A: Get writing! I’ve only been published for four years now, but every time I sit down to write I’m learning new things. Just get something on the page, you can always revise it later.
Tell us a little about the characters in your book
Wrapped Up in Stripes was a fun project for me as two of the main characters were modeled after ladies in my Street Team group and I hope that Julie and Heidi turned out as sassy as their real-life counterparts.
Which one of your characters would you like to spend time with?
If I had to choose any of my characters to meet, I think it would be Kalista’s cousin Drogan from my Coalition Mates Series.
Do you have a must-read book you’d like to share with readers?
My favorite series so far is Happy Evil After, so I’d say Viktor is a must-read.
Are you working on anything at the present you would like to tell us about?
I’m just about to start book six in my sci fi ménage, Coalition Mates series. This book is Kali, Galen and Benic’s and I’m looking forward to their story!
Do you write using your computer or notepad? Both? Something else?
My computer mostly.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve researched for your book?
Probably timelines for ancient Greece and Atlantis mythology? Lol it’s certainly not as weird as it could be.
Ebook or print? And why?
I’d say 95% of my reading is done in ebook, lol just because I like having a huge selection at my fingertips at all times. I make sure to get my favorite books in print though, ones that I re-read a lot.
What is one thing your readers would be most surprised to learn about you?
Hmm, that my day job is in accounting?
If you could have one paranormal ability, what would it be?
I’d say either the ability to fly, or breathe under water.
